Friends cannot hear me?

    Friends cannot hear me?


    Hello! I am having a bit of trouble because my friends cannot hear me in parties on Xbox One.

    I was talking to my friends in parties fine 2 days ago but I had recently gained a suspension for communications (day only) and I have been granted my communications back. But now my friends are unable to hear me at all even when my mic is plugged in and
    all my devices are switched on but I can hear them fine. I even speak in parties and it says the mic icon is coming up!

    Xbox one headset problem since April update

    All of my friends mics work fine I can hear them but they cannot hear me

    Cannot hear friends in xbox one party

    Hey there!

    Thanks for the support message.

    If the mic light is lighting up when you're in a party alone, it's more then likely a network issue rather then a hardware problem. Please give these steps a go and let us know how that turns out for you!

    Friends cannot hear me?

    Before we assume it's a technical issue, have you contacted support to fully understand the suspension and reinstatement?

    im having a similar issue (only difference would be i wasnt suspended from communications that i know of), i can hear everyone through my headset but i cant talk to them through a mic, i have to use the kinect. at first i thought my mic for the Xbox One
    stereo headset just died so i bought a new one, turtle beach XO One, but that doesnt seem to be the problem as it is still persisting for my new headset.

    i have tested it out on 3 different controllers and 2 different adapters but that didnt fix anything. ive done a cold restart. turned the xbox off and on with the controller, unplugged and plugged the xbox back in, unplugged the mic and turned the mic around
    to try and get a signal. also there is no update for any of my controllers when they are plugged into the xbox.

    mine says moderate, ive been told it should be open, but i dont know how to change that

    well everything seems to work now, ended up getting a new router after following the instructions on the support page broke the last one
