    Friends cannot hear me, but I can hear them


    I was skyping with my friends and then left to get something to eat. I came back and they couldn't hear me. I have turned my Xbox one off and on, hard reset. Still same problem. Every now and then they say they can hear me, but I think it's only if the mic
    is in a certain position. I've never dropped my mic, so I'm not sure how it isn't working. Are these just poorly made mica and I'm out of luck? Please help. NOTE: my first mic also did something like this (I believe it was a problem where the wire connects
    to the adapter). So im starting to think these mics are made poorly, considering the fact I made sure to take extra care of it this time around.

    Hey Bumzilla! I would suggest taking your controller back to the retailer. Post back if you have any other issues!

    It started recently, whether I'm in a party or game chat I can hear everyone but no one can hear me.

    Actually now there is an xbox live service alert going on regarding Xbox Live Core Services: signing in; creating, managing, or recovering an account.

    Affected platforms: Xbox One Xbox 360 Xbox on other devices Xbox on Windows 10

    Affected services: Signing into Xbox Live Xbox One and Xbox 360 Applications

    Latest update:

    Hey Xbox members, are you having problems seeing your friends, and setting up parties? We're aware of the problem, and working to resolve it. We'll let you know as soon as we know more.

    You just have to wait till the issue is solved.

    This seems to be a Common glitch that you can fix by setting your pc time and date to automatic
