Friends, believe the good news!

The capture should be private and you should have to make them public, getting clips of something to edit, and finding someone has like the original before you can edit is a pain, or at least have the option.

 

I do agree that clips should not be publicly visible until saved and/or edited 1st, because I hate it when people like the "raw" original before I get around to editing it. That being said, I'm not 1 to put a lot of rare clips on my, or others', feeds -
I make quality content that's actually somewhat worth watching and delete the raw originals afterwards.

 

Hey gg, I'm up for gow, SW Battlefront, GTA 5, Battlefield 4, maybe KI but I still am average at best and in comparison to you I'm "special needs". Regardless of me being the furthest point from you, Often we are on at the same time. Do you play Battlefield

I would just point out, if I play with people on the same game a lot, I don't have a problem with an invite as much, but I would much prefer in all cases a text message explaining your plans, I have joined parties and been told I don't have what they wanted,
it saves a lot of hassle and your sending the invite IMO the emphasis is on the you, send a message and i'll reply asap. send an invite or voice message and i'll ignore.

 

Back Lot Basher has it exactly as I meant it - you get people that literally save everything they do (Defy Lightning ) and it gets annoying when a mate says check your feed for that clip i just uploaded and its gone under a mountain of absolute tosh.

Also, I didnt know you wore hearing aids and i now get why you would use kinect for chat.. I just think people on kinect sound like they are playing from an echo-y toilet lol

 

^ Yep agreed, I also hate it when people post clips that are clearly spoilers like end level boss fights or dialogue that reveals story. There just no need for it....

 

With regards to game clips on feeds.....when I score a good goal on FIFA I get a message pop up saying 'game clip recorded'. Does this go directly onto my friends news feed?

 

^^ Yup... I had to turn the auto record for EA games off (its in the fifa settings menu somewhere)

Also, just going back to a point you made GG 'i make worthwile content' (or similar on the last page) - that is subjective, so not everyone is going to like it

 

Yeah,pretty sure it does.

GTA V used to be nightmare for automatically recording every little thing you did & publishing it on your feed.

 

Good job I don't score many good goals lol!!! But in all seriousness, on behalf of Microsoft and the entire Xbox Live Community I'll apologise for something I cannot help doing, but at least it's not 30 seconds if random nothingness I've gone out of my way
to record and upload!

 

Regarding story-based or potentially-spoilery content, I don't generally make clips of that kind of thing. Most of what I post are multiplayer-based awesomeness. Also, while I realize that it may be subjective to each and every individual viewer, what I
meant by quality content is that it's not going to be a clip of a menu screen or me doing nothing, for example. It will be something (likely) worth watching, for the most part.

Bran, I like GTAV, but it's rare that I choose to play it. If anything, you might have to take the initiative on that 1 and invite me.

Red, I'll keep an eye for you online when I play those games.

Raist, what exactly do you mean? I thought I got along well playing with most people... :|

Also, I'd like to add that, to my surprise upon coming home from work today, a FR was waiting for me from iBakez! I really wasn't expecting that 1...
