Friends appearing offline when their not

Does your friend appear offline? The appear offline feature will still increase in day count if they play while appearing offline. If he is not appearing offline, sometimes (very seldom) will the friends list show people with a wrong status, but when
it does it usually updates within a few hours when this issue occurs.

Put yourself online then do a full shutdown on the settings of the xbox a d it should fix it...

• Press the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the ‘Guide’ menu.
• Scroll right to the ‘System’ tab and open ‘Settings’.
• Go to ‘System’, then ‘Console Info’ and select ‘Reset Console’.
• Choose either ‘Reset and remove everything’ or ‘Reset and keep my games & apps’.

This has been happening a lot lately.. don't worry about it, it will be fixed by itself, or restart your console and check again.

Most of the times, xbox servers will go down unexpectedly. But they usually go back with 1-2 hours. Occasionally, it’ll take longer.
