Friends account got hacked

one of my friends accounts got hack by one of my friends on xbox he changed is email and password so that my friend could not get back into his account. i have reported this player on my console and i do have his gammer tage, his real name and also where
he lives i would like a member of the security team to also email me back.

Hey, can you give us some more details about how it happened? If I understand correctly, you're currently in possession of the account? The hacker is no longer using it?

If yes, I really suggest that you immediately contact the Xbox support and explain to them what exactly happened. If you can somehow prove, or make them believe that you truly got hacked they might revert the communication ban. I think that it's your best bet good luck!

 

Please have you're friend contact Xbox support by phone to start an unauthorized access investigation and they will be able to get him his account back.
