Friends account error!

Hey Xbox support team if possible could you give me some information on whats happening with my friends account because he tries to sign in then it just says "sorry there is an error with this Xbox Live account" and this has been happening for about 3 days
now his Gamertag is [Mod Removed: Please don't name and shame] any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This item cannot be transferred between profiles

I'm borrowing my friends xbox 360, and I logged in to my xbox account. I started up Red Dead on the Xbox One, but my saves were not there, so I went to transfer my red dead saves to the cloud on the 360. I'm logged in to the account that bought the game, but it still gives me the error message.

 

i cant sign in!!! help!!

ok, so a while back LIVE sent me a message over xbox live and said that i needed to enter in a security code for my account so no one else could sign in to it. i ignored it. a few days ago i was at my friends house and i couldnt download my account. an error code popped up. now when i try to sign in to xbox live on my computer, it makes me go through all this crap. my email hooked up to xbox live is hotmail and it is microsoft too. i have to enter that stuff in my hotmail account too! Help!

First this forum can be seen by everybody, so not only Xbox Support will respond.

Regarding the issue,

is your friend able to login at xbox.com and or
http://account.live.com? To see if some more information is shown when trying.

If neither of them give some more information my advise is that your friend contacts Xbox Support via
support.xbox.com/contact-us so that Xbox Support is able to check the account and hopefully see a cause for this issue and possibly even fix it
