Friend was permanently banned falsely, with a rejected case file.

My GT is , but I'm not the one having the problem. My friend from Xbox Live, LegitBatgirl, was falsely banned without warning. She continued to submit a case file, but it was then denied due to "previous suspensions." The one who we believe to
be the culprit, KobeStlMyChkn, may have had reported her due to him being kicked from a party for harassing her. He "spammed" her invites, joined her party, and continued to harass her and her friends. He was kicked, and he messaged her but was told politely
to stop contacting her. The reason we think he falsely reported is because when the suspension was enacted, he messaged her " I love you even tho you have anger issues lol" Which should cause him to be banned, not my friend. He also kept interrogating her
and asking personal questions such as if she had a boyfriend or where she lived. You are also able to look at the messages she received from her account, if that evidence is necessary. She received the ban after a long period of watching movies offline. During
that period, she did not send any kind of messages. I don't think my friend should have been suspended permanently, considering the situation and the interactions she had with other players. It also does not seem to make sense if the ban was added 1 week later,
and was messaged by this player when it happened. Because I believe Xbox should be a safer place for all players, all players should have a voice in what happens in the community and it is a shame if those voices are not heard. She's tried everything for the
past 2 months, she contacted Xbox and Microsoft support, but they seemed reluctant to help her. She would be very willing to speak directly with a representative and provide evidence herself, but she is not getting the help she needs. If you have read this,

Reported for no reason.

Op isn't suspended or banned so can't file for a case review.That was not what they were asking.

Any report filed is investigated so you will not get "falsely banned"

you do have a voice it's called reputation

There is two things she did wrong

She didn't ignore and blocked the said player and reported him which shouldve ended it

She let it go on

If she let it go on then there is something else going on you aint letting us know

And dispite what you think xbl pet doesn't work the way you think

A perm suspensions only occurs with erroneous violations this means repeat violations or severe incidents like repeat harassment or marketplace theft

Even then it wouldn't have been during the time she was watching a movie

The way Xbox live pet works is a said player reports you

Then the agent looks at the past history and accuracy of the player and the report

If found valid it is sent to a team for review

Further review is taken on your enforcement history and if msg violations then your interaction with the said player would be looked at

If you retailiate in a way that violates the terms of use you will be punished

It doesn't matter who started it if both parties violates they both get punished

If nessary a perm suspensions is issued as a last resort

This proccess takes weeks

Not minutes

Hence why she shouldve blocked ignore and reported and worst case set to friends only which will block any attempt to contact her with a new gamertag

And no support nor pet will ever tell you of actions against the other player as that's a privacy violation

Support has no say in enforcement matters and if case is upheld you both need to keep your online gaming clean

Ithere is nothing more that can be done except ask your friend what she did

If it was false then it would've only been trashed bined and the said players accuracy would've dropped for the future reports

Reputation which is feedback on a player would've been used to reduce the likely hood if matchmaking with the said person unless invited

Now if she provided bad feedback about the said person more then a few times he would've been in avoid me which would've made it impossible to join with him unless you acceptance invite

Now if she kept accepting maybe you are looking at it wrong

If a driver runs thru a red light with oncoming traffic and doesn't stop how is the car supposed stop

It cant

Nor is it the cars fault

Same idea

She shouldve not accepted or msg back

Privacy and reporting tools are there to be used not be a hammer to fix all problems

 

The enforcement team do not use the forums.The only way to contact them is via a case review which your friend has done & the decision was upheld so there's nothing else she can do.

Her warning was the ToU/CoC she agreed to when starting her account.

Support are nothing to do with enforcement so they would not be able to help.

As ngocphi said,she should of reported & blocked anyone harassing her over xbox live then none of this would of happened.
