Friend request locked on mw2

I have tried everything from family settings to privacy settings to be able to my friends on mw2 that play on PlayStation. I fixed every setting on my xbox to allow me to play crossplay, and its a serious issue all over tiktok and the internet. Mainly people on xbox are being restricted from adding friends or accepting friend request on mw2 because the friend request option is locked. Its beyond frustrating paying alot of money for a game and scouring the internet to find ten thousand solutions that DONT work. I have tried everything from trying to add them from warzone to downloading the cod mobile app just to ADD my friend who plays ps5. He can send a friend request but i dont see it, go to it, or add him its ridiculous to go through all these settings and loopwholes for NOTHING.

Normally, our initial responses are more on probing/clarifying questions to get the root case if the issue and provide accurate resolution. I also take into consideration the different language translations.

Yes, I admit misunderstanding a bit with Op's concern. I am just waiting for the response for me go on research and provide help to OP.

Hi Geri,

I don't like questioning Moderators or MS staff but, have you maybe posted on the wrong thread? I only ask as your reply is regarding Streaming and party chats...the OPs issue is that, playing on Xbox, they cannot add any Playstation friends to the game as they never receive the friend requests nor can they send successful friend requests
