friend request error

Discus and support friend request error in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i have a friend that xbox live just refuses to let me be friends with. if i send him a request and he accepts it, we both appear offline and cant join...     friend request error


    i have a friend that xbox live just refuses to let me be friends with. if i send him a request and he accepts it, we both appear offline and cant join or communicate with eachother, and vice versa. also last night we were attempting to play gta IV on windows
    and games for windows live would not let us be in the same game. if he or i joined a lobby with the other in it, we would be booted out into our own lobby.

    Do other people get requests from people that they don't know? The other night I got two, one was actually from a buddy that had to setup a new account since his last one was hacked. The other I have no idea who the person is and they wont reply to a message. Can you block yourself from a public list?

    I get it if its something randomly new but the few times I added people like this a while back I had to go and remove them within a month. Non-stop asking me "Whats up" or my age. Really? I am a grown women with children in the house, I do not like being stalked through the TV.

    Kiesey I solved it thank you for the research. It helped alot. What I had to do was send the user a NEW friend request I could not use the one they sent me nothing would happen when I did.. Then he was in my friend list as a pending request from me. I could
    then select unmute. Once I did that I went back and declined the original request and then canceled my own friend request....Once again thank you VERY much. You may not have had the exact answer but you pointed me in the right direction..... Have a nice day

    The user sent 2 messages on was a voice message I blocked that first and then tried to deny the request. Am I able to unblock the user then deny? If so how do i unblock?

    I have looked into this a little bit and it seems to have to do with if you block the user before declining the friends request. have you tried to accept the friends request and then remove the user and block them ?



    Friends Requests only last 30 days so it will go away on it's own eventually if we are not able to figure something else out.

    No that did not work. Please remember this♉will not even delete on Xbox.com and it shows up on 3 different 360s.
