Friend request approval

Hi

Just wondering if I am able to put on a block on my sons Xbox from adding new friends until I am authorised it without having to create a family account???

In order to have this option for you to have control over his account, you need a family account and his account added there. :/

Sorry!! forgot to mention, sign into the child's profile and then go into the friends list, there you should see the friend request pending. Click on the friend request to add the friend, once you click add friend, it will download the family settings and
it will bring up the message "Your parent must approve your friends." It will display the parent email address and request your password before the friend request is approved and added to the list.

I just checked and it doesn't look like you can approve friend requests on Xbox.com any longer. They have to approve the request through an Xbox 360 console. They can also add you as a friend in their One by searching your gamer tag, but they won't show
up on your friends list
