Friend randomly appears online while not actually being on

One of my friends literally would randomly appear online while not actually being on as in her profile could say "Last seen 15 hours ago home", then her profile would randomly appear online for a few minutes and then go back to saying "Last seen 15 hours ago home". And there will be times where she will actually be on on, we'll be in a party playing together and I will still randomly get told that she came online. This sometimes happens multiple times a day. How do we fix this because this happens almost every single day.

A month later and still no fix. Randomly will get friends online once in a while but that’s pretty much it.

tell your friend to block and report him via his console and could also try to appear offline for a while so the other player cant see him being online, your friend can message you still while appearing offline so you can still play games together

no they are actually online. its my boyfriend and his settings are not set to "appear offline". he is actually online but he is not showing up on my friends list as online
