    Hi guys, been using xbox live since the start but this is my first time on the forums. Apologies if this is a repost as i tried searching google and found nothing, but i have a problem with my friend on my list..he doesn't show up on my list or any of
    my other friends lists when online, I've tried mucking about with his settings for him and although we all show as online on his list he just doesn't appear on any of ours, can someone shed some light on this as to why it may be happening? Its stopping him
    from playing with us and its quite annoying lol Any help is better than none as i have tried everything and it just will not work Thanks

    The friend system works differently on each console. The One uses a "follower" system which doesn't use actual friend requests. Your friend would need to try signing into a 360 or see if it will let him accept it from the Xbox app to add you.

    I'm starting to see reports of gamers for their friends list - missing friends or similar problems with friends and groups

    In my case, I'm experiencing missing friends. Right now I only have "7 friends" but I remember to have more.
    Probably this is a current or temporary outage.
