    Friend permanently muted


    I am playing with my two brothers on Xbox. Brother A uses PC Xbox client. Brother B uses a normal Xbox. Brother A is permanently muted for me (I also use a normal Xbox) and I cannot do anything to fix it. I've seen instances of this problem stretching all the way back to 2018. What do I do about this?

    Are you on a console that is in the preview program? If so, be sure to report the bug through the console.

    Also be aware, there is currently an
    active service alert     about party issues.

    Once the alert is resolved, see if the issue clears up.

    Maybe MS is testing a new type of permanent punishment of forever mute for comms violation?

    I have the exact same issue but I can hear him perfectly fine but for him he can't unmute me.different internet connections and everything.we play all the time so please fix.
