Friend notification coming up constantly

Recently since on of my friends got a Xbox One, it seems that every time they're signed in. every 5-10 minutes it says they come online again, it only seems to be one friend out of the 98 I have on my friends list.

It's driving me absolutely nuts. I did message him and did show him a picture of it from the 'feed' but on his side he hasn't signed out once since he's come online.

So is there any way to fix this? Is it a known bug? It's driving me nuts as I said above. I don't want to remove them as a friend but it's such a nuisance and it seems like it's Xbox Ones fault.

Achievement notification changed?

The rectangular notification pops up for friends coming online, invites, and that kind of stuff. Achievements are rounded.

 

Friends Online Notifications

I'm not getting any notifications for friends coming online either, messages, party invites etc. all show up though.

 

Have you tried to remove and redownload your profile to see if that will help with the constant notifications?

 

No I have not tried this yet. I would rather get some more answers before I go ahead and remove/redownload my profile. but as I said in my op. It's only doing it with one friend and no one else.

 

It could be your friend's Internet dropping out for a split second several times.
