Friend List shows up empty

On both my xbox one and xbox 360 I haven't been able to view my friend list for the past 6 hours (approximately). My xbox 360 friend list doesn't even show up and every time I choose my friend list from my xbox one it tells me that my friends can't be shown
at this time, even though on the home page it shows how many friends I have online. I also cannot load my account on this website, every time I choose 'My Account' in top right corner I'm shown a "oops, you've found a glitch" page.

Anyone else having similar problems or have a solution to fix it? Thanks in advance.

There is currently a Live service alert (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status) which says the following:

"Having a tough time viewing the online state and activity of other users on your Friends list? Us too, but we’re doing our best to straighten things out soon. Thanks for your understanding while we work. Feel free to check back in half an hour for an update
on our progress."

I know it's been going on for a few hours now. It's not just you.
