Friend List Not updating properly on Xb1 console

I noticed the issue on 2/16/17. And system was updated on 2/10/17

Currently it has OS v10.0.1493.2152

No updates available.

The issue I am having is the friends list is not updating in realtime. It is failing to show friends as they login/out.

I disabled the notification when friends login years ago, so I do not know it that would be functional still even if friends list isnt.

I am comparing the list using the xbox one app for the droid.

I've power cycled and that got a updated list on boot but does not update afterwards.

I've held RTr and LTr and pressed 'Y' to refresh dashboard and no fix.

I don't think it's a memory issue. I power cycled so nothing was in RAM and i have 57%+ memory available between my internal+external drives. (86% on internal).

What is the next fix/step to try?

I know there was a post yesterday on the main XB1 forum where others were reporting problems with achievements not updating properly, took one gamer 4 days for it to show properly so I'm guessing it's an Xbox LIVE issue and will eventually catch up/update.

Got the same problem, it has not been working correctly lately. its really annoying when you want to group up and play

^ He/she might just have their friends hidden on XB1.

I know a few of my friends have their friends list showing on XB1 so the feature is there.

Thanks for answering Prince Darkness, but I'm not being removed by them. They will message me asking why I removed them saying that I don't appear on their friends list. However, they will appear on my friends list. Its some display error.

I am using youtube, my friends list doesn't update. I`d like to Ask that you submit the problem in "FULL DETAIL" in the Xbox Apps Discussion with YouTube Maybe you can
"Look around" to see if anyone else is experiencing the problems.

My friends list will sometimes auto delete someone (extremely rare). They may have
"Removed You" from there Friends-List Without your Knowledge. Maybe they Accidentally deleted you without knowing. It`s known to happen. It won't be the first time and i'm sure it won't be the last.

If I try to remove them, it says process can't be completed.
You can always Add Or Remove Xbox Live Friends
From Here You will then be able to access your friends-list and check out the following.

Pending Requests Online (56)Offline
(75)Players You Met

Note gamer-tags are also tied to services like Zune or games for windows live. If a gt doesn't exist on Xbox, it might be in use on one of those services. If you try sending the gamer-tag you want a friend request and it says it’s
not a valid gamer-tag that just means it isn't used on Xbox live, but it could be used for Zune or gfwl. I thought this Information would help you understand PlatCakes, Good luck,

Does this happen consistently or only on occasion? It sounds like you're just getting a delayed update on what your friend is doing, which may be connected to your network connection. If you check from the Xbox app, is there any change?
