try restarting minecraft if that dosent work restart your xbox/playing device if neither work visit https://support.xbox.com/

Please let your friend check their privacy settings under their Microsoft account to see if it allows for multiplayer.

Also, check the world you play on to see if it is set to allow for multiplayer or not, it does sometimes seem to change the settings.

but cant friends of friends join when their friends that your frienjds with joins? im pretty sure thats happened tyo me a few times.

Friends cant join my party when they try it starts a party one friend has been able to join me but 3 other friends are in party together and we cant join them

Not long ago my friends would always be able go join me, both Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, however now they can”t join me no matter what, I’ve changed the way of joining which is “Friends of friends” to “Friend only” to “Invite only” and nothing works,
they all get the message “Unable to connect.”
