Friend is only visible as offline (not blocked!)

We suggest (for both accounts) to be removed and re-added as previously stated by XBF Aaron G. Also we need a little more information, are both of these accounts adult accounts or child accounts? Let us know so we can further assist in this matter!!

What you can try is removing and re adding your account
to the Xbox again. You will not lose anything all progress is saved to your Xbox live cloud. This might refresh your profile and read your friends list a little better.

I have the same problem well u can fix by makeing a new account on my first account offline and it says a error when try to add as friend my 2nd account it says hes online and playing

I started my old Xbox 360, there was no friendship between my friend and me. I sent a request successfully. After he accepted it on xbox 360 I can see the status of my friend, when he is on xbox one. when I using the xbox app on pc, android or xbox one x
I cant still see no status

Btw: I had a phone call with MS, it was no help. They told me I have to create a ticket on reddit xbox inside.

Hi! Did this issue just occur or are you experiencing it for a little longer? The Xbox Live servers recently had some issues which may have caused this.

Hi, I forget to say, that both of us checked the privacy settings. they are on standard.

Wen played online from 2010 until 2013 on xbox 360, this was working, and i saw him as online. Then we had a break until this year. I bought a xbox one x in april 2018 and he own a xbox one since 2017.
The problem has been known to us since April 2018.
