Friend invited me to preview program, no message received

About a week ago my buddy invited me to the preview program and as of today I have yet to receive any message on the dashboard about it.

Problem with entering in the Preview Program

Hi! In recent weeks, some of my friends invited me to the preview program. Yet still, after one month, I received any messages to become part of the preview. Why?

As an invitation by a friend does not guarantee that microsoft will pick you to participate, there is no other way than wait. An invitation is just a suggestion to let you participate. Anyway you will not participate within the current wave but with the
next one coming by the end of September. So it may take until then to get notified aber you're in or not.

Hey, guys! 24 is right and having a friend invite you to the preview program is the only way to be invited into the preview program. Please ask a friend in private message or Xbox Live messages for an invite to the program. Thanks for understanding!

My console took 2 days to receive a message to get in the preview program after my friend invited me, took about another day after downloading the preview app for my console registration to complete.
