    Hello, this is a question to know if this is possible since he will probably just abandon his xbox account as he only plays games in steam and such. But I was intrigued on the issue, he had a warning on the xbox pc app saying he couldn't play games he used to play as he had age restriction, now he had been playing with me games like sea of thieves, doom, etc so he didn't understand and then Microsoft support told him that he would have to create an account to be his "parent" even though he was in no child group or anything since again he is as old as me (close to 30 years old ). so he ignored that suggestion as it did not make sense.

    he ignored the suggestions as he was able to play the games straight from the windows store on his pc and his account page (microsoft) did not reflect anything wrong, in fact his birthday date was right so he moved on . But then a week ago or so his Microsoft account got "banned due to age restriction" and he couldn't play anymore so he stopped playing game pass and anything and its well angry.

    Now I want to know, is this something that has happened to other users? should I be scared? can a bug in the Xbox app make your account banned?

    yes the age restricted is what i mean, yes i have a 2nd xbox live account on it, that account has work, now it was a mistake an so musst i make a 2nd xbox live account for my girlfriend, and since i have the 2nd, both accounts dosent work

    It is not on www.commerce.microsoft.com which makes me wonder if it was maybe my old Xbox account that bought it, that account was banned and I lost all the games I had got with it. Is there any way to recover them? perhaps that is the problem. Later I am
    going to try removing all restrictions from my account as something may be blocking me from seeing it, since my friends can see it and I cannot.

    I know EA also has age restrictions on some of their games. Are you/your friend on a Child Account or a Secondary Account of a Family Plan?
