    Friend downloading app on their console downloads on mine as well


    Have a friend that used to live with me and we shared an xbox one. After moving out, I removed their account from my xbox one. Now when they download an app on their own xbox one, it will install on mine as well. Happens with demos and free apps

    Where else do I/they need to remove their account / my xbox one to stop getting things downloaded to my console that I did not download?

    downloading games from friends xbox on mine

    You would only be able to play the games if you are signed into his account at the same time. Downloaded games are attached to that persons account.

    I have my friends account on my xbox. he has one at home, so this wouldnt be his home xbox. can i still download and play the games he has digitally downloaded on my account and if so will this affect any progress in his game?

    Make sure your friend has their console set as their Home console.

    Yeah, a friend of mine downloaded his copy and tried it out this morning as well. His worked just fine. I just tried restoring my console too, and it didn't help.

    What type of headset it is? A lot newer headsets require additional downloads directly from the manufacturers site. Mine needs an entire app. I would also check to make sure the controller is up to date as well as the console
