Friend Can't Connect to other friends minecraft worlds

Hey thanks you for your reply and recommendation. We have adult accounts and all our settings are set to allow for multiplayer. We actually play a lot of other games together without problems.

I have a different friend that I tried to invite to my world today, and they couldn't join it either. I even tried making a new world just incase it was a possible corrupted world or something like that giving issues, which didn't help sadly. So I seem to
be able to play on other friends worlds but can't have them join my own. I have checked and have an open NAT and have rebooted my modem.

A work around I tried doing was making a realm free trial and have us play on a realm I hosted, but that failed when trying to get it running and it said to try later.

Kind of bummed, just wanted to play on my cool world with some buds.

Thanks for coming to the forums for this issue with Minecraft. As your friend is having trouble entering into your world, this may be due to their privacy settings for their Microsoft account. It is also possible that they have a child
account, rather than an adult account, and may need their parent(s) to help make this change for them, or to check to ensure that everything is set up correctly for them to enter other worlds in Minecraft.

manage their own privacy and online safety permissions if they have an adult account by

The only way you can connect to other worlds is if you have friends that are in an open game.

where your son can look for people to play with on Minecraft.

There could be several reasons why you can't connect to your friend's world in Minecraft Bedrock:

Firewall or router configuration: Your firewall or router may be blocking incoming connections, which would prevent your friend from connecting to your world.

Internet connection: A slow or unstable internet connection can prevent you from connecting to your friend's world.

Game version mismatch: You and your friend may be playing on different versions of the game. Ensure you are both on the same version of Minecraft Bedrock.

Xbox Live account: Make sure both you and your friend are logged in to Xbox Live, as it is required for multiplayer on Minecraft Bedrock.

NAT type: You may need to change your NAT type from strict to moderate, or open, in order to connect to your friend's world.

Did it work before with that particular friend?

Has your friend set up the world to allow multiplayer?

On what device is your friend playing? PC, Xbox, something else? What version is that Minecraft game of your friend?

Yes, connecting to other people's world's worked fine, there are generally other people on the server as well and it is both pc and Xbox
