Friend cannot connect to my parties, 1v1 games, etc.

This is going to be a wall of text so prepare yourselves, if any help in regards to this issue can be found, it is greatly appreciated.

Since roughly three days ago, my friend and I can no longer be in party chats together, play 1v1 matches against each other. The only game we can both play online at the same time is EA NHL 17 in the Drop-In mode. In games such as Dark Souls 3, Killer Instinct,
Rainbow Six Siege, we cannot even join the same lobby. However, when he joined the listed games by himself, he has no problem playing them online, or joining other parties.

His NAT type says it is open and he is behind a cone nat, which I would figure would cause us no problems connectivity wise. He's tried reseting his modem and router, and hard reseting the xbox, all of which have not resolved the issue.

Cannot connect to my friends parties

when i try to join my friends parties I will disconnect from the parties when I invite the them to mine they will connect then i will disconnect

Additional Information: He and I share the same ISP, as do many of my friends and he can't connect to them either.

Same happens to me sometimes, I cannot connect to certain parties and when I do, it takes like 15 seconds. That is certain friends though. I know one guy on my friends list that I cannot connect to at all. The second I attempt to join party it tells me I
cannot connect... lol doesn't even give it a second to connect.

same here can watch Netflix etc etc yet dashboard says connect to xbox live .... was randomly kicked from game with friends and they still playing but I cant play nothing join party send messages etc etc. I don't see how my friends are unaffected ... baffled!!

My friends and I all have the same issue, our NAT is Open, we are on part chat all talking etc.

Co-op games don't work like TC said, only 1v1's work.

I can connect to some friends but i can play in the same game or party as long as they are not the leader. I've reset my router and i keep seeing the cannot connect to matchmaking.
