Friend and I have xbox live issue

So basically, My friend gets disconnected from xbox live and i get disconnected from the party when ever I join him (party or in game) or when he joins me, (party or in game) This problem only occurs between both of us. For example: My friend, and our other
friend could be talking in an xbox live party together. I will join, my friend disconnected and im out of the party. Or 3 of my friends (not the internet connection one) are playing some private matches on a game. than he joins, and boom. Im kicked from game
and hes disconnected. Now to answer a few questions before continuing. Him and I live in the same town, we live less than 7 blocks away from each other. No the problem is not our internet service provider as my other friends we all have different or the same
providers in town, (Theres only shaw or telus) They're compatable with each other, so it isnt the internet providers problem. If anyone knows a solutions or any suggestions. We've done the cycle, reset router, turn of xbox console, check bandwidth usuage etc.
Idk what the problem is. So any help is appreciated, btw im on 360 thank you!

I cant play Destiny?

Same. It signed in, showing friends online playing, but won't let me bring up friends app and Destiny says I need to be online to play.

well there are actually several problems.

1) please reset your your xbox 360 to factory defaults, i promise you will lose nothing.

2) secondly make sure all wires are properly connected an not touching each other.

3) third make sure you are not using wifi with shaw or telus as it does conflict with some party chats an games.

4) also try uninstalling your game an then reinstall it. please also power down after you have done so.

i have tried all the steps above an i have no known issues at all. i will however give you a small tip for you regarding shaw an telus, as i use them as well. make sure your UPnP ( universal plug and play ) is checked, also make sure that DMZ (demilitry
zone ) is also checked an reset your xbox after doing so. make sure you save settings. you have to log into your router/modem to access all of this. save an then exit.
