Friend and I cannot download the free Sacred 3 game to our XB1.

So, apparently Sacred 3 was supposed to be free starting Wednesday. It's now Friday night and we cannot find out how to download this to play on our X Box One. Supposedly all 360 games now released for free for Games With Gold can be played on your X Box
One. Well, if I go to the store using my XB1, the only option to click on says "Bundle Only" and when you select that there's nothing there. I tried to download it with my computer at xbox.com and it does the same thing, Bundle Only. When i try downloading
the 360 version it wants a credit card, which makes no sense as it's never asked for a credit card downloading Gold games before. And yes, I have a Gold membership that lasts until the end of March, 2016.

sacred 3 says it's free?

i just got on my xbox and went to check sacred 3 it said free but when i went to download it the game said price was 19.99$ is it not free?

Hello dear Xbox community,

I have a valid Live account untli December 2016, but I cannot purchase the free Xbox 360 games, now for example, Deus Ex. I always receive the message "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." Until now I was able to download two
free games, Dirt 3 and Sacred 3. For all the other free 360 GWG games, it's not working. I have tried all options: from the browser (Chrome, IE), from the smartphone and from Xbox One's Edge.

Also, I was able to buy in the marketplace Witcher 2, but it's not in "My games" list on the Xbox One.

I am grateful for any advice. Thanks.

In order to "purchase" the games with gold for the 360 you have to make the purchase through either xbox.com or a 360 console. The website has never been updated to work with the currency system for purchasing 360 content, so you have to have a payment method
on file in order to to purchase anything for the 360, even if it's free.

Found out that I can't select this online at xbox.com (Gold Live) as the "Bundle" option shows, and does nothing.

Thanks to smwutches, I've managed to download this free - using Xbox 360 console itself.

Cumbersome workaround, but it solved this problem for me.

I’d love to see Sacred come back, but not how it was in Sacred 3. Sacred 2 was one of my favorite RPGs of all time and I spent a lot of hours playing it with friends. It was actually one of the reasons I switched from mainly Playstation to hardcore Xbox.

HI. The issues is occuring with me as well for both Sacred 3, and Operation Flashpoint.

I am in the UK and can see them 'free with GWG', and it seems to want to force you toward a US payment gateway, then says 'Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again'.

Please fix this before the free games expire (operation flashpoint in particular).

Well I just added operation flashpoint and sacred 3 to my downloads, both say free yet both needed my credit card, really need to work on the store and maybe ditch this credit card thing. I have Gold, let me download it without giving CC details if it's
free, well duh
