Friend abuse

Hey recently ive gotten my 2 week ban (which is the last before perma) and my good "friend" now knowing this is using it to force me to give him stuff on games or he will perma ban me (he is using previous messages where me jokingly says "****" and other
things like that) is there any way to deal with this or should i simplely just have my acc perma banned for no real reason.

That's the thing. All i did was play games with friends and watch netflix. And i got a n email yesterday saying I was permanently banned for profile abuse, and complaint abuse.

 

Muting and avoiding players?

One blanket fix is to set voice comms to friends only. This means you can only talk to and be heard by accepted people in your friends list.

I've used this setting for a long time now, after years of hearing music and racist abuse way too much when I'm trying to enjoy multiplayer.

 

No player has the right to extort others on the Xbox Live service. It is actually a
Code of Conduct violation to be treating you like that, especially if he's coming off as a "hacker" or impersonating a Microsoft employee to get stuff from you.

If anybody gives you problems, you just simply mute, block, and report. Xbox Enforcement reviews all reports, and will look over the all of the messages they've been sending you.

Do not engage any further in messages or other communication to this player. Stop talking to them.
