Discus and support Fried my controller? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Just put brand new batteries in a brand new controller. Started to smell fired circuits.     Fried my controller?


    Just put brand new batteries in a brand new controller. Started to smell fired circuits. Immediately removed the batteries. Is there a recall on these new Xbox wireless controllers? I can't take it apart due to the special screw (T25 with a hole?) I'm part sparky so changing a fuse or what not isn't a problem. How ever if there is a recall or something? I just go the whole xbox x/s a year ago and haven't used the secound controller at all until to day. Some guidance would be appreciated.

    Had the same problem, ended up been the way I was charging my controllers I went through 3 controls seems to of fried inside of my controller I'm not sure if this is same problem you have, but jus try a new charging port if this is what you are using

    I have the same problem with Xbox One Headset Adaptors. I play on my bed, so when I shift even the tiniest bit, I build static and can hear the faint buzzing from the headset. When it gets worse, others can hear it, and when it finally discharges in a large
    enough amount, the Adaptor fries and doesn't work. This happened almost once every 3 months. Luckily the local GameStop completely understands am delighted just hands me a used one.

    I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't use the methods to prevent this. It's not like the technology has been here for like 20 years.

    Same thing happened to me and microsoft wouldnt help. I got mine from amazon 3 months earlier and they issued me a refund.
