Fresh new xbox one : Cant read games

Just bought an xboxone with 2 games.

The console cant even read them. Error message " We cant read that disk blabla"

Xbox One has compatibility issues with UK TV signals

I read it somewhere - don't ask me where I cant remember - it was late last night after a long Xbox One Gaming session. One of the news sites I think

Its hard to make anything really new after so many decades of gaming, not one game is released now that you cant link to another game or series or even genre now

The key is to keep things fresh, and whilst we have seen many Tomb Raider games before, that doesnt mean it cant take on a new style, which from what I have seen and played of this rebooted game, they have changed it enough to make it fresh and relevant
again, 343i did it with HALO 4 when they made it more narrative in tone and content

 

Please head over to settings then uncheck Enable Blu Ray Player and clear the persistant storage. Then hold the power button for 10 seconds and unplug everything and let it sit for 5 minutes. That should solve the issue.

If it does not then please return the console to the store you purchased it from for an exchange.

Where did you get your console? Are you able to return it for a replacement?

 

Hey Onyx, not to be rude, but this isn't an issues with the console. There seems to be a problem with consoles bought in the past 24 hours, and the new update, that is not allowing consoles to read disc.

 

Hopefully an update will be available soon to resolve this problem

 

I've returned 2 consoles yesterday as requested by Microsoft so now on my 3rd and still same error sorry unable to read disc

 

Same exact problem here. Bought my xbox one this afternoon and returned 2 different consoles and games to no avail. This is unbelievable. I basically bought a $400 paperweight.

 

Its not about returning the console.

Every single console bougt after the update is getting completly destroyed

 

This issue has happened to me in the past and I had to send the console in for a repair so returning the console was a valid option here.

However, I have forwarded this up to get looked at as quickly as possible. Hopefully they'll have a fix out soon for you.

 

hey look this bloody rubbish I have got through 8 consoles in the last week because of this rubbish put a bloody patch out all ready

 

i dont even have place to return this *** now ... and i dont think this can be "repaired"
