Fresh batteries sent with incl. controller exploded

wooo man, first you have to contact your supplier because the device that was sold was defective and even in a lawsuit can be processed, I hope you're good

I'm really sorry that this happened, I would suggest going and telling Microsoft about the whole issue, and also the retailer that you got the controller from, so you can probably get a refund or some compensation for what happened.

I suggest that you contact Xbox support as they will be better equipped to help you.

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One
Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

on top of what has been suggested, if you haven't done so take pics of the damage done and injuries incurred.

• Step 3: Pick a Topic - I recommend Payment & Billing for best results & then Show Contact Options
  
  Click Request a Call from Support
  

This will help schedule a call back from Customer Support.
