Frequent Xbox console updates

Why does Microsoft Force updates which kick me out of my activity? I understand the need for updates, however there should be an update later option, or a warning that the update will start shortly. This happens so frequently that I am curious why updates
can't be grouped together causing less interruptions.. Does Sony do the same thing on the PS4?

If you are part of the Insider Program you will receive updates much more frequently.

You can leave the program if you find that you don't participate much in it. I've provided a link that will help you do that. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/xbox-insider-program

I think your console is in the xbox update preview group you get updates more often then not update preview members

You can change the update settings to manual so this doesn't happen.

System updates are prioritized without them playing the game and the Xbox will not work properly. Therefore, it is always a priority to make such an update.
Then the updates are corrective, etc. and can be postponed. Then the game updates and without them are usually not played again unless updated.

I understand the console needs to be updated and when you are an insider it updates often but Microsoft should make it possible to download the update in the background while using the console and then when you are finished and go to the home screen an
option should pop up to update the console now/ I am an Insider and all too often the second I turn on the console the download starts and I have to wait until the update is finished until I can use my Xbox.
