    While my two sons play on their xbox live accounts on their single xbox 360, they suffer frequent disconnections from the xbox live system while the household network seems stable. It most often, but not exclusively, occurs when they are both logged in
    and playing variations on call of duty Atlas or halo 4 with friends or other on-line opponents. I have eliminated corrupted files, cleared the cache and reloaded profiles multiple times.

    Our network speed is ping: 12ms, DL 29.81 MB/s, UL 6.12 MB/s

    Our network topology is

    Comcast ISP to x-finity technicolor TC 8305C router, lan cable to Belkin N300 Wireless N F9k1002v1, lan cable to xbox 360. The entire connection to the XBOX is wired although both devices in the household also provide wireless signals.

    Unfortunately I don't think there's anything in the update that will resolve this issue. To resolve this issue, you may want to consider getting a new router. This list is pretty solid, though I know that some users have pointed out one or two models as
    being exceptional for supporting two consoles out of the box. Perhaps someone else would like to shed some light
    here?

  4. Frequent disconnects from XBOX Live

    The Technicolor TC8305C is the one causing this, it's because of a firmware update by Xfinity that caused many issues for people including me! So I recommend either requesting a Cisco DPC3939 (XB3) Gateway or a Arris TC862G from Comcast. I've heard that
    the Arris gateways also have similar issues but it can be fixed with a firmware update!

    I got the XB3 Wireless gateway and it has been excellent ever since!

    Microsoft can't do anything about this since it's at Comcast's end and nobody is sure when this will be fixed.

    is not operating in bridge mode, as a standard modem, any device on your network that need to communicate to the Internet-at-large will be NAT'd twice. This is not recommended.

    The Technicolor TC8305C can be configured to be operating in bridge mode. It's a simple task, where you just have to reach out to your ISP and have them know about your situation, and that you already use an additonal router on your network.

    When the TC8305C have been properly configured, make a visit to the Belkin website, and make sure your F9k1002v1 is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware.

    Post back and let us know how that goes.

    Modem brand & model number: Do not know

    Router brand & model number: WRTU546-TM

    If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? Using an internet cable that hooks up to my laptop, that then connects to my router. (Has worked well for a while)

    Things you have tried: Port Fowarding (many ports), Clearing cache many many many times, re-downloading account, updating drivers on router and laptop, replacing router, replacing internet cable.

    Is UPnP Enabled? Unknown

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT? No NAT errorr

    Any Error Codes you encounter: None

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Xfinity (54mbps)

    After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)
