    Freinds Cannot Hear me on the Microphone via Party Chat


    Good Morning,

    Yesterday my Xbox One stopped working so reset the console turned it back on, created a party, invited my freind into the party and he cannot hear me. My Microphone Icon was lighting up and i could hear him but he cannot hear me at all. I tried another microphone
    even tried using the kinect microphone on the unit.

    I also checked that i was the only individual signed on to the console. Checked Provacy Settings. I also tried downstairs in our projector room where the other console is to no avail. Is this some problem with Microsoft that is not enabling me to talk to
    party memebers?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Xbox App Windows 10 Microphone not working but I can hear others.

    When in a party chat I can hear people clearly, however they cannot hear me. I've tested my microphone and it works perfectly, just not on the application. Also, it doesn't say that it can't find my microphone. I have no idea why it isn't working. Please

    New Astro A50 Gen 3 Headset Issue With Game Chat
    I purchased and set up the new Astro A50 Gen 3 headset according to the

    set up guide. My XBOX DayOne recognized and assigned the headset (via base

    unit). However, in Destiny alone, game chat is bugged. I can hear the

    other members of my fire team but they cannot hear me. My emblem shows

    the speaker icon, but no indication of audio from my microphone or being

    muted when I mute it. In other words, Destiny game chat does not

    recognize my headset's microphone. Party chat is not an issue.

    Update.

    So the microphone lets me talk, and i can also hear party chat and voice messages. But cannot hear the game or normal xbox guide noises.

    Any ideas ?

    Try this procedure, hope it helps. You can enable the Text Conversation Chat or Speech Conversation Chat features. To do this:- Go to the game's main menu and select the Settings tab. - Enter the Accessibility submenu. - Select Enable Text to Speech Chat or Enable Speech to Text Chat. To mute or unmute the microphone, highlight your Gamertag and press the OPTIONS button. In-game chat is enabled. You cannot hear party audio and the party cannot hear your voice. To switch to party audio, select [Party Settings] > [Chat Audio].

    If I use wireless headphones and connect them to my Xbox controller, can other people hear me talk?

    If the headphones have a microphone, then when you start a party with someone, then yes they will be able to hear you. If it doesn't have a microphone, then no they won't be able to hear you. Same applies if you use in game chat to talk to other gamers.

    That generic support doesn't really apply here. The problem is with a PC microphone, not an Xbox One microphone. The Xbox App on PC detects the mic and it works if I start a party via the app, but it doesn't work in any capacity on the Xbox One for parties
    or game chat.
