    Freezing While Syncing


    Minecraft hasn't been working on my Xbox One for around 3 weeks. When I launch the game it takes between 5-10 minutes while it says "Syncing User Data", every time. After that, I can navigate through the menus where I can select a world to launch. Again
    it pops up with "Syncing User Data" which after several minutes freezes. Every time. I can return to the dashboard but Minecraft doesn't open after that. Clicking on the icon just makes the standard tone that it makes when you launch a game but with no effect.
    In order to launch the game again I have to hard reset the console.

    I tried hard resetting and uninstalling and reinstalling several times before giving up and playing the old Xbox One Edition instead for a couple weeks. I decided to try it again today, I redownloaded the game and launched it. Same problem as before.

    HOW TO FIX THE FREEZING GLITCH

    To anyone still experiencing this issue, I just finished the game on co-op on Xbox 360. The trick to avoiding the second player freezing is to join the game while the host is in a dead zone. When you exit the dead zone, all the players in the party then get synced up during the loading screen. After that no more freezing. Have fun smashing heads....

    Is there a problem with Xbox X software

    I’ve started to get issues with downloads freezing, saves not syncing, games not loading and when power cycling the console startup errors.

    Problem got worse. My console was essentially bricked when Minecraft kept trying and failing to download. The home screen looked all broken, icons stopped showing up and are still to this point broken. No apps or games would load. The console would crash
    after being on for a minute or two. I fully deleted Minecraft and blocked it from downloading again and it fixed the problem. No other games have this happening, residually several of the icons on my home screen still broken though

    Hello

    I would suggest holding the sync button on the xbox while you start up see if that can bypass the freezing on start up.

    If that fails I would suggest contacting technical support.

    I guess I have a complete xbox 360s console collapse/faiure/melt down and I dont know why

    I tried to do this about 25 times and the console freezes up before I can get to the spot to delete my profile. I tried with the hard drive in, hard drive out, holding in the sync button during start up, and also standing on one foot while chanting and
    still can't get past just a few seconds before it freezes.

    Firstly try the screen freeze solution at:
    support.xbox.com/.../screen-freeze-solution    . It’s a terrible guide and does nothing really to help you, but nevertheless try it out.



    Try turning the console on while holding the sync button on the console down. Wait for the console to fully boot up. This will clear any corrupted updates that could be causing this. If this happened immediately after the latest system update, you along
    with a truck load of others have fallen victim to it and will need to set up a repair.
