Freezing On Digital Keyboard

Every time I load my digital on screen keyboard up to send a message, change the name of something, etc, my first instinct is to go capitalize the first letter. There is an issue where going to capitalize the first letter and immediately pressing said letter
will freeze the keyboard and make it so I need to do a full hardware reset via holding the power button. I can repeat this on command and it happens very often to me.

Is there a way to fix this? If not, can someone forward it to the developers?

No digital keyboard/Social issues.

I cant reply to messages or use digital keyboard. A black space where keyboard is suppose to be. Also notifications though turned on will not appear on my screen.

 

Hey there i'll be glad to assist you at the moment.

First there isn't a general fix to remove this permanently yet but you can finish whatever you wanted to say with Smartglass (IOS, Android, Nokia / WIN 10) however you will need to restart your console every time you get this. It's known as the Keyboard
Lockup so lets address it as that for now alright.

A hard reset is how to fix it but it'll still lock up when opening from experience it's best to slow down it happens more often if your rush typing so once you see the keyboard pop up wait about 2-3 seconds before hitting the Caps button then start typing
as well i found out that pressing the home button will remove the keyboard on screen and take you to the home page so give it a try (Not all console will work by pressing the home button).

And sadly nobody besides Staff members here can talk to devs / engineers and pass notes over to them so you'll need to be patient as this issue has been here for quiet a while now.

Do we know if the developers are at least seeking a fix? It happens so often that it becomes frustrating and sometimes just makes me not want to send messages at all.

 

Sadly i can't tell you if they know I'd be glad to try to get a staff member in here for you if you wish but that's all i can do only they can tell you what is happening with this.
