    Freezing issues


    My son has had repeated freezing issues with all games on the xbox one. Today, he downloaded Minecraft and it completely freezes on any map he tries. We need a fix. This is getting to be a friggin headache. any help will greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Does your XBOX360 freeze?

    Nope, the only time I can remember mine freezing is in FIFA 13 on career mode, as there was a now-patched freezing issue whenever you tried to simulate to the next game.

    Hey there ZEISuper6!

    Sorry to hear about the freezing issues! Let's start with a power cycle to clear your system cache. To do that, press and hold the Xbox One console's power button for 10 seconds until it turns off. After that simply boot it back up and see if the issue persists.

    If that doesn't work, I would recommend Uninstalling and Reinstalling Minecraft.

    If after you try those two steps and the game still freezes, post back here so we can help get this issue sorted!

    Hey there Raven! It sounds like you covered a lot of the troubleshooting already; thank you for that! You are correct that this could be an issue with the HDD. Can you try turning off the console, removing the HDD, and then start up the console again. If
    that works, try using a different storage device, either another HDD or a USB device. If that works, we can safely assume there is an issue with your HDD and it should be replaced.

    That said, once you have a replacement HDD, you may be able to transfer the data to the new one with a transfer cable. Please let me know how the above tests go and we can go from there, thanks!
