Freezing in certain games that my pc used to run fine

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues when playing certain games on your PC. For us to isolate your issue, can you provide sample games that are freezing?

Is there any error message that you can share?

Kindly make sure that you have the latest updates from Microsoft:

1. Right-click the Start menu.

2. Select Settings.

3. In the Windows Update window, select the Check for updates button.

In addition, ensure that you have the latest drivers from your graphics card manufacturer.

See if you can find any reports of the problem in the Reliability Monitor.

1. Press "Windows + R, type Control and press Enter;

2. Go to "System and Security > Security and Maintenance";

3. Expand "Maintenance" and click "View reliability history".

See if any errors are reported when the computer froze.

Thank u for your responce,

a list of games i had issues with are Drug dealer simulator, eu4 and most recently, Satisfactory.

sadly, there doesnt show a message on screen, it just freezes and the sound buzzes,

then my keybord is not responding anymore and i have to push the power to shut the computer off.

Updates are fine, as is my driver fully updated.

there are a lot of errors in the reliability Monitor, but the only info is that the system closed unexpected.

The Fartest i can see on the report, goes back to 18/02/2025, but there's no data before, i think i just had the issue less often.

Like anything PC related, we need to know more about your PC specs please. How long does it 'run fine' for, and is it in a certain part of the game?

Hello there. After searching the internet for solutions for my xbox app roblox freezing I came across this thread. I have the exact same problem. Roblox app just freezes after random periods of time. It could be few minutes or sometimes close to two hours until it happens. It happens frequently and with certain probability. Not if just when. My pc remains totally responsive and other apps and and even games can run fine on the background. Only solution is close the roblox app and restart it back again. Have tried to uninstall roblox and update graphics driver but problem remains unchanged.

I hope someone will actually do something about this issue as it is very annoying and frustrating. I am using windows 10, but I tried on my other pc that is running windows 11 if roblox would work there any better and if anything it was the same or worse.

Other games for example astroneer, texas chainsaw massacre and redfall all run fine without freezing. The last two games mentioned have other issues but that is besides the point. Would appreciate new possible fixes to try or have this problem forwarded to someone who knows their stuff. Now it feels like roblox is being purposely mistreated or neglected by microsoft xbox app on pc.
