Freezing, frame rate drops and sttutering in all games.

Thanks for the extra info, x rock rigo x. I know it's frustrating, I just want to collect one last bit of information. Is this experiencing on a normal Xbox One or do you have an Xbox One S?

I run a video game trailer business and we have been having big screen lag issues, since updating our 6 xbox one's on Sept 23. Our trailer only gets connected to the internet when I choose to do so (twice a month though), so I'm not sure when the actual
update with the issue was released. So far, we've determined that Mortal Kombat XL and Black Ops 3 are unplayable. Mortal Kombat even has severe lag on the demo mode. This is not a network issue, as ours are offline the majority of the time. We've been
running them without issue, since Nov 2015, so the issue is from a recent update. It's very embarrassing to arrive at someone's house for a $300 - $500 party and tell the group that we can't play the most popular games. MICROSOFT, PLEASE FIX ASAP!

 

Perhaps this could be important for you Microsoft, since the last update to the game PES 2017 if the console is connected there are no shots during the game, but if I unplug the console (offline) the game stutters every 10 seconds, try yourself to check.

 

October now and no fix yet. Some games are crashing to the dashboard now (Dead or alive 5 Last round). What happened? Run out of suggestions? Are you working on a patch maybe?

The game releases from holidays are approaching. What are we going to do? Buy a Ps4 to play the new games?

I wonder if the Scorpio will be running the same crappy OS...

Are you running a snapped app? If so, which ones?

• Doing game chat?

• Premium headset attached?

• Are you game streaming?

• Are you also doing a download in the background?

• Playing background audio?

Are you running a snapped app? If so, which ones? No. Only one game/app open at a time. I have the console set to energy saving, so each time i turn it off all apps close.

• Doing game chat? No.

• Premium headset attached? No.

• Are you game streaming? No and never.

• Are you also doing a download in the background? No. Even have auto-downloads (or auto-updates, can't remember) turned off since the problems started.

• Playing background audio? No.

Hope that helps, but the problems are coming from the OS updates (i'm not in preview program). Everyone who gets the same frame rate drops and choppy gameplay come to the same conclusion, the updates form september are the cause. The issues hit after some
time with the console on, maybe there is data or memory overload over time and at some point the xbox can't handle it and struggles to process (I'm pulling theories out of my... due to frustration heh).

 

oh come on, multiple threads about this issue and yet microsoft still think that their scripted BS is going to help fix a CONSOLE UPDATE issue?

i get it, you guys have a job to do, you have to do this, thats not what's getting one my nerves here, its the fact that we all know nothing is going to help until MS release an update to fix it.

i feel for you guys whose job it is to deal with angry people like me...

We definitely understand the frustration, but this information helps us and the appropriate teams pinpoint these issues. Especially with an issue like this where there are multiple factors that can result in the issue you guys are reporting, collecting this
information is very important.

As you can see in some of the threads we have posted in, were currently working with the proper teams to gather this information and investigate. We seriously appreciate the feedback, but if you can pass us all of the information Mister Cizl has requested
in one of the threads you have been active in that's going to help all of us a bunch.
