• My xbox keeps disconnecting randomly from xbox live and freezin when i try to go to home screen and i have to power it off manually to get it to work again!!!
    • Netflix is also doing the "25% and cannot play this title bs"
    • Ive cleared cashe and re added the app. Ive power cycled my router and xbox. Issue remains
    • My wireless mode is g-only

My firewall setting is not too high

      Other devices connect fine.

It happens on apps and in game play

      My xbox is well ventilated.

Ive changed channels on my router

    X:0000-f001

    OVERRWATCH CRASHING

I'm just getting disconnected from the match I'm in, no freezing.

  3. getting kicked from online during matches?

I'm not getting disconnected, but my game keeps freezing, making an obnoxious noise and rebooting the game back to the title screen.

    Freezing and disconnected again
My wireless mode is g-only
Are you able to (just for testing purposes) connect the console with an ethernet cord? Just to make sure that there is no WLAN interference and/or the WLAN module isn't faulty?
My firewall setting is not too high
Please completely DISABLE the firewall in your router. As long as there is no explicit rule that allows traffic inside (e.g. by manual port forwarding), the router will block all incoming traffic that doesn't fit a rule that tells it otherwise. Meaning,
that even with the firewall turned OFF, the router STILL IS a Firewall.

The scenarios for which a firewall is needed usually don't apply to a private home setup (unless you are running your own internet-facing servers, in which case you should KNOW what you are doing and configure the firewall accordingly).
Fix this. Or tell me how to
Also check if the disconnects are an "outside" problem.

Turn on your PC and open up a command prompt. On Windows you do this by pressing Windowskey + R, then typing "cmd" in the small window and clicking OK.

On Mac OS or Linux simply open up a Terminal window.

    Now in that window type:

    ping www.google.com -t

(if you use a Mac or Linux, omit the -t option).

This should print rows upon rows of numbers on your screen.

    Now play on your Xbox.

As soon as the disconnects happen, check the screen on your PC.

Do the numbers significantly change? Or does the output change to something completely else?

    Firewall is off.

Laptop connects fine and pings fine. My laptop shows no sign of connection changes in the black box

With ethernet to tv still has disconnection issues.

Sorry, but what do you mean with "ethernet to tv"?

Or did you mean to write "ethernet to the router"?
