    Freezes after sending a few messages


    My messages will start to slow down after I tab out to send them, after about 10 or so the entire xbox will just freeze solid and I need to restart. Happens regardless which game I'm playing.

    This may be a derp question but: How do I download Gears 2, 3 and Judgement?

    Through xbox live. I bought game at release and they messaged them around a few days after they released the dashboard.

    Hey mate,

    Have you tried to give your console a hard boot? This can sometimes fix a lot of freezing issues Freezes after sending a few messages :)

    To hard boot, simply have your console on, and sitting at the dashboard. Then, hold down the power button on the front of the console for 10seconds, until it switches off. Then leave it off for a minute or two, before turning it back on and trying again.

    Hopefully that should fix it, but if not let us know and we'll take it from there Freezes after sending a few messages :)

    The console only freezes when I start sending messages from the double tap. After 10 or 15 messages it'll just start slowing down then eventually freeze. It's a bug with this new dashboard.
