    Freeview HD Channels disappeared


    Using an official TV tuner I used to be able to receive Freeview HD channels until one day they suddenly disappeared and now the Xbox won't find any HD channels regardless of how many times I reset and scan for channels again.

    Can anyone help with the issue please?

    Xbox one Digital tuner - poor signal

    Anyone had problems finding HD channels? all mine set up perfectly except I get no HD freeview channels...

    Official Xbox One TV Tuner not finding any HD channels.. Help!..

    I Purchased the Official Xbox One TV Tuner and when i did a scan, no HD channels came through.

    Im in Northern Ireland, BT63 postcode. When I do a scan, I get two providers to choose from, Freeview and Freeview National Lineup

    Neither give me any HD channels. I know I can get HD channels, and I do get HD channels with the same aerial on my Humax YouView box.

    So why is the Xbox tuner not finding them? Im at a loss, cant find any help about this online anywhere.. Freeview HD Channels disappeared :(

    BBC iPlayer.

    If you've got an Aerial that goes into your HD, Freeview enabled telly, that should work with the X1 tuner, it's the same aerial that plugs into Freeview boxes.

    It'll be good to play around with it and see if the channels look any better. It's currently coming out in the UK and a couple of European countries.

    Dunno about Sky, I use a freeview HD dongle in my laptop and watch on 360, media centre gets tv guide via web and puts it on xbox, channel changes, scheduling recordings, supported from 360.

    So I would be very surprised if Freeview wasn't supported on XB1. It would be a step backwards if it didn't. MS has been supporting TV on xbox via media extender for quite a while. They may drop the media extender but supported tv receivers should still
    be supported. I have a Samsung freeview DVR, with HDMI CEC (anynet+) so it should work ok.

    Okay thanks for the help. Ive decided I'm going to take the TV tuner and remote back to the store and get my money back instated though. My xbox power supply makes a ludicrous amount of noise when the xbox is off so I have to unplug it! makes the TV feature
    pointless really... You guys will only replace it if i send mine in and endure the 5 WEEK wait! Longer than I've owned the xbox. I have had absolutely no luck buying this xbox one, regret buying it! I have yet to get any of the 'advertised features to work...
    Hopeless.
