Discus and support Freesync and freesync 2 spring update in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; so i just got my spring update.     Freesync and freesync 2 spring update


    so i just got my spring update. I bought a asus vp28uqg 4k gaming screen with freesync just because i wantet to play my games with freesync.

    How come i cant turn my freesync on now that the one x suports freesync? I think i have freesync 1 and i toght that microsoft where suporting both freesync 1 and 2.

    If it is how do i turn it on?

    Well I have an Xbox one X with the Spring Update plus an Asus VP28UQG 4k freesync-capable monitor, and it ain't working on my set-up.

    FreeSync on an older Xbox One (not X or S)?

    4K is a waste of money . microsoft push 4k to the players so they must buy a new xbox one x.i buy nintendo switch they do not push 4K crap to the players.

    i can turn on the variable updateintervall on the xbox but not on my monitor so i guess that wont be working then

    Did you set the monitor to game mode?

    1. Splendid > Game Mode

    4. Image > • Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync is not selectable?

    Try connect in other HDMI-1 (V2.0), HDMI-2 (V2.0) port.

    It's possible that the freesync is only available with DisplayPort, if it's not specified specially as HDMI FreeSync support.

    Tried to change the input to the second one but still nothing.

    Yes adaptive-sync/freesync is graymarked so its not even selectable :/

    Its a bummer if the specs on the monitor doesnt say "not compatible with freesync on hdmi" i dont understand really why it wouldnt. If the technology is in the device it should be avaliable on all ports that suports it. I just bought this monitor with soul
    purpose to play my xbox one x with freesync so im really down :/

    got a final answer from Asus this monitor though advertised as freeysync capable over hdmi will never support hdmi 2.1 from xbox 1 x but some time in 2018 Asus will provide a model that pairs with xbox 1 x :/ .....back to Amazon it goes I guess

    Yes, all Xbox One models will be getting Freesync support. At the time of this posting, Freesync is available in ALL preview rings right now, so if you're in the Insider Program and you have a Freesync-supported display, this should be worth checking out
    and testing.

    One thing to note is there is a slight difference with the Freesync support on the different console models though:

    • The Xbox One S/X will get Freesync 2 support (with HDR).
    • The original Xbox One will get Freesync support (the first version of Freesync).
