I need help. I live with a roommate who’s Xbox is connected to mine. My problem is that I PAY for Xbox live and all of my games I usually buy at the Microsoft store and he refuses to split it half and half which means he gets to
play Xbox live and all the games I buy on his Xbox for FREE. How do I take his account off or whatever to make it to where he can’t play live or MY games that I buy and pay for. Finally how can I set a lock on my Xbox so he can’t play on my Xbox or sign into
his profile on my xbox and switch the settings? Thanks in advance.

    :)

  2. Roommate Dispute.

Stop caring for a pointless stat no one cares about but you. Have fun with your room mate and stop being such a negative kill joy.

Sounds to me like the guy is purposely trying to mess with you. Since he knows that you take the game that seriously, he could be being a douchebag on purpose. Some people enjoy ruining others experiences. On the other hand, it is only a game. If you care
that much about your k/d ratio then don't play multiplayer with him. And sorry to say if the xbox is in his room, you're kind of up a creek without a paddle. Easiest solution would be to get your xbox and tv in your own room. Or maybe put the other roomates
xbox in a general living area. Although that can cause problems too. . . . . Having roomates is a give and take thing. Your situation is not unique. The only way to handle things is to act like adults and figure out some ground rules that can be followed.

    Hi z4 Projectz,

I'm not sure if there are two Xbox consoles in question here, or just one. Either way, if he's playing Xbox titles that have been purchased under your account, while being on his account, then it means that Xbox is listed as your "Home" console. If there
are two consoles, then I would suggest making your main console your "Home". For more information on that feature please see

    this link
. Please note that you can only change your home Xbox 5 times. So, if you move this settings often, you may run into issues, where you can't share when you want to.

If you only have one console to which you share, then you'll need to remove the console as your "Home" Xbox. To do that go to Settings > Personalization > and then select "My Home Xbox". Here you can select "This is not my home Xbox".
Doing that will remove any Xbox Live sharing tied to your account. Additionally, any games you purchased will not be shared with others using that console.

With the account security on the Xbox, I would suggest you use a passkey. Even if you decide to not make any Home Xbox changes then, it's a really good idea to have one if you're sharing a console with other people. Without it, your roommate could buy games,
movies, rent games, etc if you had a credit card on file, and no restrictions. To set a passkey go to Settings > Account > Sign-in > Security and Passkey > then Create my passkey. With that set, every time you login you will need to put that passkey in. See

    this link
for more information. You can also add additional features, like requiring this passkey for purchases, as the Xbox doesn't automatically sign you out if you walk away.

    Hope this helps!

Sick of Freeloaders & Randoms Altogether

This has been discussed many times and the easiest way to get rid of a freeloader is to let everyone die. Then when you go back to the lobby vote kick the freeloader out.

Mass Effect 3's 'Earth' multiplayer DLC out next week, totally free

Just as it was easy to see them freeload before the idle time limit.

    -

This wont do anything to put off the people who want to freeload because it is so easy to get around. They know they'll likely be kicked when they return to the lobby just as before.

    -

All this will affect are the people like yourself who have a genuine reason for going idle for a couple of minutes. Essentially the honest people are getting punished and the freeloaders will continue as they always have.

Petition- To at least give us the option to choose the XBOXONE's original path (digital freedom/family share) OR to stick with the traditional

Only ones begging for this to come back are the freeloaders that want to leech off their friends.

Your absolutely right too many freeloaders wanting to play online for free.
