    Recently, I was given a 2 week suspension from the xbox live enforcement team for inappropriate speech or messaging (they don't tell you the specific instance, because it can lead to "targeting")

    First off, Microsoft doesn't have enough money to hire a few people to take phone calls or emails for the enforcement team? The only way to contact them is... well you cant contact them. You can submit 1 case review and they contact you whether or not the
    ruling has been upheld or not depending on your "specific case" which is not a proper business technique. "Don't call us we'll call you" method is not acceptable for a multi-million dollar company.

    Secondly, what ever happened to freedom of speech? Yes, I have read the code of conduct and accepted it. I understand that xbx enforcement are trying to prevent bullying or harassment online, but what ever happened to online trash talking? You cant say anything
    to anyone anymore without consequences? I mean this RIGHT is given to us.
    Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the
    free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. This ring a bell enforcement team? No 'Code of Conduct' should
    restrict this.

    Finally, I have submitted the"case review" and received an automated answer within a few hours.

    Hi , thanks for your inquiry. This account was issued a temporary communication suspension for harassment of other Xbox Live members, including the abusive use of derogatory slurs. Xbox Live has a number of features at
    your disposal for dealing with troublesome players. You can prevent users from communicating with you by using the Mute and Block features, and if you feel a Code of Conduct violation occurred you can file a complaint. However, retaliatory harassment and abuse
    is never an appropriate way to resolve a conflict with another player. Even if you didn't start the argument, harassment is never permitted on Xbox Live, and players who engage in retaliatory abuse are just as likely to receive enforcement action as the other
    player. During this suspension the account may continue to access the Xbox Live service, including online multiplayer, but communications features will be restricted. This includes messaging, video communications, in-game and party chat, and Skype on Xbox
    One. At the conclusion of the suspension all communication functionality will be automatically restored.

    Again, no way to contact the enforcement team or reply to this message. You can call support and speak to reps or supervisors and they all say the same thing. "Sir, unfortunately there is no way to contact or connect to the enforcement
    team and we have no way of contacting them." I am PAYING for a service that I cant take full advantage of. Sounds like fraud to me. Taking away aspects of the service you pay a monthly fee for is criminal.

    Anyone have any success contacting this "enforcement team" let me know.

    ^ Freedom of speech does not exist on XBL. It's up to the Enforcement Team to deem a motto inappropriate, and if they do, they can take action. Perhaps people should not use mottos so blatantly obvious that they are inappropriate. It's simple.

    I say if I am in a private party chat I shouldn't be able to be reported for communications. I am not the property of microsoft; they work for us not the other way around.

    As an merican company they are obligated to protect our freedom of speech... WHAT DID THE SOLDIERS DIE FOR? OUR FREEDOMS? GOOD JOB MICROSOFT; YOU SOILED THE MEMORY OF ALL THE DEAD SOLDIERS... GOOD JOB I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT.

    The Enforcement team takes all suspensions and reports seriously. If you submitted a case review, the Enforcement team is sure to look into it. I'm afraid if they conclude that the suspension was rightfully placed, then the best option will be to wait for your
    suspension to end after 2 weeks. Keep in mind that you are using an online service with a specific code of conduct, while you are welcome to your opinions, going against the code of conduct is grounds for suspension. Be sure to play fair and be respectful
    to your fellow gamers to avoid future suspensions.
