Free Xbox one X game

I was told by a customer service representative to post here to request a free game as promised at purchase of my Xbox one X. The case for support chat reference is 1425178570. On purchase bid Xbox I was told by retailer I could claim a free game from Microsoft
I chose Forza Motorsport 7 and did not receive any game in box just a generic Xbox box with a gamepass trial, the chap at support chat said if I post in the forum a moderator would be able to give me a code for the download as they are unable to issue the
game directly to my Xbox live account. I have the photo of receipt of purchase and the box but would rather not attach to open post I can happily send this directly where required. I have already sent email back to support with attached photos requested of
receipt and box. I posted this to support also I'm getting no response so I'm reporting to general discussion.

So a few hours have past and no response so I assume I got the usual Microsoft customer service experience. So the chat I had with support states "don't worry I'm sure you will get your game" and "moderators on the forum have access to the download codes
we don't" I fully assume this is misinformation as it makes no sense and I'm wasting my time posting anything on a forum but please correct me if I'm wrong moderators, I'm not impressed with Microsoft customer service at present and have been a loyal customer
for two decades including beta testing the original Xbox live service day one. A simple reply would be nice.

 

Your first problem was believing Microsoft gives a rat's @$$ about your needs. Some of us have had issues going back with their crappy support teams for YEARS, and we are still waiting for proper restitution.

Your best bet is to go and let Snoop Dogg know about it on Twitter, since he will get "Bill Gates" on that for you ASAP. Then Phil Spencer will give him more free stuff while wearing some stupid indie studio's T-Shirt.

THAT is how Microsoft works in 2018. Actual customer service? AS IF.
