Free Xbox One Game Pass Issue

I have just bought my first XBOX ONE, have had xbox360 for a few years. With the purchase i received a Free 1 month game pass but it wont allow me to use it as i am an "old customer" Has anyone had this issue and is there anything you can do to redeem
this code?

That's how it goes with Game pass trials, if you have game pass already, or have had game pass in the past, then you are not eligible for the trial.

As mentioned above if you have had games pass in the past, then that would be why you are getting this error.

However if you haven't had games pass in the past and you believe this to be an error, definitely feel free to reach out to xbox customer support with the link provided above
