Free Xbox Live service for PC users

Wrong. You do have a right to complain about the "free service", since you paid money for the console to access the "free service". The "free service" is nothing more than a "spam service" for Microsoft.

My mistake. Regardless, I'd rather pay for Xbox Live than have PSN for free even after getting this awful dashboard.

I agree with voteDC - the constant marketing stream of how the Xbox 360 is the centre of the world when it comes to being an entertainment HUB, yet to be a Gold Subscriber to watch TV repeats on Demand is pointless when the same apps are available on PC.
No common sense approach in how to tempt more people off the PC and on to the console. At least the BBC app will be free to use for Free Xbox LIVE users, but that's probably pressure from the BBC since it's service should be free to License payers. A price
increase for Xbox LIVE is going to be inevitable soon though, I can just feel it coming...
