Free xbox live promotion

Yes hi I was supposed to receive free Xbox Live for a year from a promotional that popped up on my 360 dashboard I had previously posted on here and was told to wait till the 25th of June which is now 2 days past posting again to find out what to do at this
point because the Xbox Live not show up and I did not renew my subscription because I was supposed to get it free for a year so any help on that would be great thanks

I'm assuming you're refering to this raptr promotion
raptr.com/.../xbox-live-free-gold-subscription. This promotion only works if you currently have an Xbox silver account, if you're currently a gold member the promotion code won't work.
