    There are a few streams on YouTube right now giving away Free Codes for Xbox. Are these legit? Does Microsoft know about this? Some of the streams are saying it's a 2017 hack.

    These are scams. Would you trust a code from someone that posts videos on how to glitch and steal? That is what that channel does.

    There's no such "hacks" to give free codes for Gold time or gift balances. Codes containing anything of real value (Gold, gift balances, games) would have to first be activated with a valid purchase. Anything illegitimate, if indeed hacked, would be tracked
    down, disabled, and carries the risk of Enforcement possibly issuing an account suspension of whoever redeemed it.

    Livestreams like these are just cheap, lazy ways to attract thousands of viewers, get YouTube subs, and
    harvest emails in chat for spam/phishing purposes.
