Free with Gold X360 games not appearing on XBONE

So practically yeah, just like I said above. I can't download the newest 360 games on my XBONE through fhe Free with Gold window, and when I try to "buy" the games it comes up saying it needs my credit card (in other words I need to pay)

Wtf is going on?! I cant have Dungeon Siege for no reason!!!!

Free gold X360 games on xone

can we able to download the x360 free games with gold on xone. I dnt have x360, I just take xone and subscribe to gold for one year. I can see the free games only for xone but not for x360 in my membership area.

X360 "Games with Gold on XONE

Hello, I have a XONE and trying to catch the X360 game in "Games with Gold" is not free. How to proceed?

I'm hoping it do some to Xbone!!! I had it for x360 and sold everything for the release of xbone.!!!!

1) No one over the age of 12 still refers to it as an "Xbone". Either Xbox One, One or X1 seem to be the norm.

2) There was a deal on purchasing the One version of Minecraft if you owned the 360 version. I'm not sure if the deal still exists though. (It's been about 15 months since I bought it.) Also should mention that any sort of deals being offered are done
by the publisher of the game, not MS.

3) I highly doubt GTA V and/or Minecraft will ever be backwards compatible due to their separate releases on the One. It doesn't make sense from a business standpoint.

Theory of Game

Hey there.

Free/discounted upgrades to the Xbox One version of games is up to the developer/publisher of the game. Because of this, it varies game-to-game. GTA V doesn't have an offer for an upgrade at this time, I believe Minecraft still has an offer where you can
buy the Xbox One version for $5 (instead of $20) if you have played the Xbox 360 version.

Similarly, data transferring from the Xbox 360 version to the Xbox One version is up to the developer. I believe Minecraft has a way to move worlds from 360 to Xbox One, and if I remember right your GTA Online progress can transfer as well.

Hope this helps... for other titles you'll have to look up whether discounts/upgrades exist.

I'm having this problem as well. The thing is, I've already purchased free games with gold for X360 in previous months without any problem. I never had a X360.

I think this might be a bug.
