Does any of the other million + owners who forked over our $500 on release day, feel like we are getting the short end of the stick here. We show our support buy the Xbox One on the release date, with little no original games available, now all those people
who have waited, will get a free copy of Titan Fall with the purchase of a new system. Way to take care of your loyal users Microsoft. Touche.

I am sorry... knee-jerk reaction... but seriously... you bought something on DAY ONE... and now you want free be's... perhaps you should have waited until something like this happens or don't complain when it does. /rant off

 

I'm not having a go, I'm really not but I really can't understand why people seem so upset/surprised by this. Surely people know that when you rush out and buy something new on release ( not just consoles ) you pay top £$£$£$£, be patient and the price will
come down, it's always been the way.

Also, I bet any money most of the people complaining about it now, if they would have waited and been able to it cheaper with a free game they would be praising Microsoft from the roof tops.

As for the group hug, better count me out, I've got man flu and some sort of sickness bug that my daughter kindly passed onto me, mind you if anyone wants to come around and puff up my pillow, it'll be most appreciated ;-)

 

I really don't see the big deal about this either. I got a free copy of Fifa 14 with mine and that was more than I expected. It's really not even slightly unusual for special offers to arise in order to sell things either.

My 360 came with 5 games for £279, the same price as a 360 with no games at the time. Good for me but I guess those who bought one before me got ripped off and robbed. I for one find it disgusting that I paid nearly £300 for mine but they're now little over
£100. And who do Gamestation think they are charging me £40 for CoD4 when you can now pick it up for less than £10.

I would not say I am crying, but 4 months later, seems like a desperate move to me. I am now feeling like I made an error in judgement in which of the new systems to buy, looks like PS4 should of been my choice, at least to start. Sony gives away a free
game monthly for their users, what do we get from Microsoft, besides headaches. But I am not going to get into a pissing match with you, but the looking at the titles you own, your probably about 12 and Mom and Dad bought you your system.

I am serious.. if they bundled Zoo Tycoon in a box.. would people complain? do people really get jealous when someone else hits the lottery... they still have to BUY the console... so what they are getting a free game... that just happens to be the most
wanted game in a very long time...

If you bought a TV today.... and 4 months from now (1/3 of a year) they sold the same TV and it came with a free DVD player as a limited edition special... would you be as ***? not like forever on people will get a free game... I am sure it will go away
by mid march.. possibly even before the 11th

 

After reading his response... is it or do all of these "free" game thread all sound similar.. Shouldve went with PS4.. made a mistake... I wonder how much Sony is paying these guys to talk down on the XB now

meeyow Duane... you should have went with door #2. Married no kids and a wife that needed convincing to get an X1. I cannot fault you for coming to this conclusion (buying the wrong system) and I wasn't trying to get into a pissing match. It's just that
when people don't bother to check what threads are out there before posting the exact same thread for the 5th time I get a bit sandy. Gamestop I am sure would love to give you in-store credit towards your next game console purchase. Good luck and good gaming!!!

Well your correct, bad guess. Actually after sending it, I figured it could be wrong, as my kids and grandson both use my system on occassion, my profile shows I play Viva Pinata (Never have, Never will). As far as the Gamestop thing, last thing I would
ever do, is trade anything to them, I will be buying a PS4, but waiting for a game or 2 to be released, that would make it worth my money. It was the Lego Marvel, that threw me off. Well, I also will have Titanfall already reserved, so maybe by chance, we
may yet challenge each other across the lands.
